Linda Arends

Memory Care Program Director

Inspired by her choice to be a caregiver for her mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2005, Linda came to Willow Park to be the Memory Care Program Director in November 2008. Linda believes, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Linda creates activities designed to enhance the residents’ quality of life in Memory Care. To her, this means more than mere group entertainment: activities are designed to be on par with the residents' abilities and interests; they are also intended to bring a sense of enjoyment, accomplishment, contentment, and purpose to each individual. Since January 2009, Linda has facilitated an Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group which meets at Willow Park. Linda obtained her Residential Care Facility Administrators License through the State of Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses in June 2011. When not planning activities for residents, Linda spends time with her grandchildren and attends classes at BSU.

Elizabeth was born and raised in Minnesota fighting the cold winters, but moved to Boise, ID with her husband in 2006 and started a family. She and her husband are busy with their three kids. Elizabeth enjoys hiking, traveling, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Julie Fuzi

Assisted Living Activities Director

Before joining Willow Park in 2012, Julie owned her own beauty salon for 17 years, and after both of her parents fell ill, she quit her job and took care of her parents during their hospice. That’s when she realized that she wanted to take care of others and made a career change. Julie has contributed to Willow Park’s success in several positions, starting out as a Med-Aide, has covered the Front Desk, and is now the Activities Director. She loves her residents and hopes to make a difference in their everyday lives. In her spare time, Julie enjoys music, sports and spending time with her son, Jake, and other friends and family.
